Facebook Update Privacy Settings



There are different with Facebook today. A pop-up message will appear when we do sign-in to the largest networking site today. The number of members who are increasingly booming Facebook finally forced to tighten its members privacy settings. "As far as we know, this is the first time that happened in the history of the Internet," explained Simon Axten (Facebook spokesperson) via Cnet news.

For Friends option, meaning users will share his account information to those who joined in Facebooknya account only. This is recommended for sensitive data, such as email addresses or phone numbers.

While choice Friends of Friends means, allowing the user friends of friends joined in the network to view the data shared.

For Everyone selection, means that the information contained in the Facebook account can be accessed by anyone who is dealing with the Internet.

In addition to the above three options, there are other alternatives, namely customize. Here the user can set certain people are entitled to see his account, by typing the name in the field provided. So, be careful in the indulgence of information through social networking sites.
